In positive psychology, according to the VIA Classification of Character Strengths zest is one of the 24 strengths possessed by humanity. It falls under the category of courage, the strength that allows us to overcome fear. As a component of the virtue of courage, zest involves acquiring the motivation to complete challenging situations and tasks. Those who have zest exude enthusiasm, excitement and a highly contagious positive energy. This is why we see entrepreneurs with zest do extraordinary things. It has been claimed that zest brings you to realize your vision more rapidly than your any other strength.

Enthusiasm is defined as absorbing or controlling possession of the mind by any interest or the pursuit of interest. Enthusiasm brings out the hyper character in us. It is like adding more wood to a bonfire Enthusiasm for what you do creates energy which translates into results.
